Overview
CreatorOrbit is a platform designed to empower creators by simplifying how they manage, grow, and monetize their work. It brings together essential tools such as content organization, audience insights, and payment tracking into one seamless experience. The goal was to design a clear, user-friendly interface that supports creators in focusing less on admin tasks and more on what they do best: creating.
Results
The project resulted in a clean and consistent design system that makes CreatorOrbit easier to navigate and more visually engaging. Key workflows such as content management and payment tracking were simplified, reducing unnecessary friction for users. The outcome was a polished, scalable interface that set a strong foundation for future product development and growth within the creator economy
Process
Research & Analysis: I began by reviewing existing tools within the creator economy to understand common pain points and opportunities. This helped identify gaps in how creators currently manage content, engage audiences, and handle monetization.
Information Architecture: I mapped out the platform's core features and structured user flows to ensure content management, payments, and insights could be accessed quickly and intuitively. This stage focused on clarity and simplicity.
Wireframing & Prototyping: Low-fidelity wireframes were created to visualize the layout and interactions. These evolved into interactive prototypes that demonstrated key workflows such as organizing content and tracking earnings.
Usability Testing: While no formal user testing was conducted at this stage, I ran internal reviews and design walkthroughs to validate flows, gather feedback, and refine interactions before moving into high-fidelity design.
Visual Design & Style Guide: The final stage focused on creating a clean and modern interface with a consistent design system. A style guide as developed to define typography, colors, and components, ensuring scalability and brand consistency across the platform.
Conclusion
CreatorOrbit was an opportunity to explore the intersection of design and the creator economy. The project allowed me to transform complex workflows into a simple, approachable platform that supports creators in focusing on what matters most, their crafts. Through this process, I gained valuable experience in structuring user flows, building scalable design systems, and balancing functionality with visual appeal. This case study highlights how thoughtful design can lay the foundation for a product's growth and long-term impact.
