Introduction
Homebridge is a PropTech platform designed to help immigrants secure rental housing with confidence. Finding housing in a new country is often overwhelming. Immigrants face trust gaps with landlords, unclear documentation requirements, and anxiety around payments and agreements. The rental confirmation stage in particular creates friction, as users are unsure what happens next after reaching an agreement.
Results
The design flow creates a smoother and more reassuring path from landlord agreement to rental completion. By clarifying the next steps and improving the confirmation experience. The experience feels guided rather than transactional, helping immigrants feel supported rather than pressured.

Process
Research & Analysis: I analyzed the immigrant rental journey and identified major friction at the agreement stage. Users felt uncertain about next steps, documentation, and payment security. The key problem was a lack of clarity and reassurance during confirmation.
Wireframing & Prototyping: I created wireframes to simplify the confirmation flow and clarify progression from agreement to payment. The focus was on strong CTA hierarchy, clear information structure, and reducing cognitive load. Prototypes were used to validate flow clarity.
Visual Design & Style Guide: The visual system was designed to communicate trust and simplicity. Clear typography, structured layouts, and strong primary action buttons ensured users could confidently complete the rental process

Conclusion
Designing Homebridge reinforced the importance of trust in high-stakes decisions. Renting a home is not just a transaction, it is an emotional commitment, especially for someone starting over in a new country. Balancing clarity, reassurance, and simplicity was essential in shaping a product experience that feels secure, transparent, and human.
